DGT-Map: Directional Global Traversability Mapping Utilizing Multi-Task Learning for Heterogeneous Vehicles

DGT-MAP addresses direction-dependent and vehicle-specific off-road traversability, which is often represented by isotropic cost maps and vehicle-specific learned estimators. Its self-supervised multi-task framework learns global, directional, and vehicle-specific information while enabling different vehicles to share common terrain representations.
