NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo Examples
Provider:NVIDIA
PhysicsNeMo (formerly Modulus) examples cover 20+ use cases and 30+ case directories across PINNs, neural operators and GNNs, under Apache-2.0.

- Rationale
- Engineering L2: examples ship full training scripts and configs (PINO, FNO, MeshGraphNet, DeepONet and others) usually paired with analytic or high-fidelity reference data, but the deliverables are models and training configs rather than standard simulation input decks, hence L2.
- Scale
- The examples README lists 20+ use cases across CFD, weather, healthcare, additive manufacturing and molecular dynamics; Modulus-Sym adds 30+ case directories such as ldc, darcy, cylinder, bracket and seismic_wave (examples/README.md in NVIDIA/physicsnemo lists use cases by domain, and the modulus-sym examples tree adds 30+ subdirectories. Modulus was renamed PhysicsNeMo in 2025. Checked 2026-10-25.)
- License
- Apache-2.0 — PhysicsNeMo is released under the Apache License 2.0 including a patent grant; example code carries the same license and is free for commercial and derivative use.

Why it is listed
PhysicsNeMo is the most widely used open reference stack for physics-ML surrogates, and its example tree is effectively a catalogue of the model families now being applied to CAE: PINNs, Fourier and deep operator networks, MeshGraphNet and transformer variants.
Readiness assessment
Examples are complete and runnable — a training script, a config and, in most cases, analytic or high-fidelity reference data for comparison. Notable cases include lid-driven cavity as a purely physics-driven baseline, Darcy flow with data-plus-physics variants, vortex shedding with MeshGraphNet, and weather models such as GraphCast and FCN-AFNO — an L2 working set rather than a mesh-level asset library.
Practical notes
NVIDIA renamed Modulus to PhysicsNeMo in 2025, so older tutorials and papers reference the previous name; the package installs as nvidia-physicsnemo and the code is Apache-2.0, which permits commercial reuse.
