This research addresses the challenge of CFD prediction discrepancies in open tip clearance flow for compressor cascades. The authors propose a non-intrusive correction framework leveraging a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) trained on 166 parametrically sampled CFD total pressure loss fields. By adapting the VAE latent space, the method corrects CFD simulations without modifying the underlying physical model. The approach targets turbomachinery aerodynamics where experimental ground truth is sparse and high-resolution measurements are unavailable.
